Sophie joined Third Sector PR in October 2009 from PoliticsHome.com, where she worked as a News Editor.

On a day-to-day basis at Third Sector PR she monitors the news agenda, finds creative angles for clients, drafts news releases and provides timely responses to current issues to give her clients a successful and positive media presence.

Sophie’s background is a happy marriage of the media, politics and current affairs. Prior to training as a newspaper journalist with the NCTJ, she worked at the BBC, New Statesman and a variety of local newspapers. She also has a First Class Honours degree in politics and an MA in social and global justice from the University of Nottingham.
