Patricia
has many years' experience in the information
and communication fields. Starting her
career with (then) Charles Barker PR and
advertising agency, she handled a wide
range of corporate and consumer clients.
She moved on to gain valuable international
experience with the United Nations where
she worked in its environment agency
(UNEP) in Nairobi, Kenya, before transferring
to its information (UNIC) and refugee
(UNHCR) agencies. She returned to the
national scene, heading up the PR department
at the Royal National Institute for
the Blind, before starting her own consultancy,
Third Sector PR, in 1994.
Over the last decade, Patricia has
cemented Third Sector PR's reputation
as a leader in its field. The company
increasingly is being called upon to
work with Government departments and
public sector organisations, and with
major companies for their corporate
social responsibility policies, alongside
her core activities for a number of
leading charities.
