Everyone knows that gardening is good
for them. How to prove it is not so easy.
Thrive wanted to position itself more
prominently as a national disability charity
using gardening to change lives. On the
back of research-based evidence, Thrive
now has an active PR and media programme,
raising awareness in the national media
and putting in place ambitious plans for
a capital appeal for its flagship project
in Battersea Park.
Partnerships, public affairs, marketing
and fundraising are all now playing
their part in the communications mix
to establish Thrive as a powerful player
in helping disabled people to play a
full part in society.
