Third Sector PR has worked with the Youth Sport Trust since the charity’s inception in 1994.

Designed to support the education and development of young people through physical education and sport in the UK, including those with special needs, the consultancy has helped YST to shape its growth and success. Today the charity is playing an integral part in delivering the government’s strategy, building a better future for young people through sport.

We are currently creating awareness of one of the Trust’s major initiatives – Sky Living For Sport. Run by the Youth Sport Trust in partnership with BSkyB, it targets young people who are at risk of opting out of school life. Spearheaded by Olympic athletes, Dame Kelly Holmes, and now Darren Campbell MBE, the successful initiative has reached nearly 17,000 young people in some 600 schools – and is expanding through 2008.
